"Climb up on some hill at sunrise. Everybody needs perspective once in a while, and you’ll find it there."

A little bit about me
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, always surrounded by familiar roads and quiet towns. While it may not be known for dramatic scenes, I have learned to find beauty in the small, everyday moments. My love for photography began with my aunt, who had a gift for capturing life as it was - raw, real, and full of heart. Though she is no longer here, I carry her legacy with me in every session. Photography is how I stay connected to where I come from and to the person who first showed me the magic behind the camera.

Relationship with nature
My passion for nature has always run deep. I spent much of my youth traveling, hiking, and camping.
As I got older, my sister had taught me the importance of grounding-being fully present and aware of my surroundings. Through that, I learned to connect with nature, to truly appreciate the world around me, and to find beauty in simply being alive.
Try this:
5-4-3-2-1 technique: Notice 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. This practice brings you back to the present moment.

Photography
My photography journey started pretty simply with just wanting to take pictures of sunsets, friends, animals, and more. I was instantly drawn to it, and the more I clicked the shutter, the more I realized how much I loved freezing moments in time. Photography has become more than a creative outlet; it is a way I connect with people, nature, and the world around me.
